There's something in this licking thing , my sisters 15 yo Westie Bonnie (yep she's still plodding along) has a lump on her rear hip that never heals , but every time it flares up the puppy 1 year old licks it consistently ( yuk) and it settles down . I dunno what it is but dogs tongues must have healing properties .x
