Default The Lhasa Coat

The lhasa has a double coat - a top coat and an undercoat - the top coat should be long and heavy, straight and hard. The undercoat should be moderate although some time ago, it was decribed as 'dense' but this has been changed. It gives protection against both heat and cold.

The top coat should not be woolly and neither should it be silky.
