Default New Lhasa friend.

I haven't been on the forum much since I lost my beloved Pip last July. I pop by occasionally but haven't posted for a while.
Some of you who I keep in touch with on Facebook Lhasa groups will already know this but for those that don't know I am pleased to say I now have another Lhasa in my life!
Rosie is a black Lhasa and she is now 16 months old. She has only been with us since mid November. I was made aware of her by one our members who runs a facebook group for Lhasas and has been involved in rescue before. Rosie had been returned to the breeder through no fault of her own. Her previous owner had been taken ill and been hospitalised.
She is a lovely girl but sadly had not been well socialised since leaving the breeder. She was quite lacking in confidence and never been walked or mixed with other dogs. She is coming on a treat but can sometimes still be a little uncertain around other dogs. I have been taking her to training classes and of course we are out and about walking everyday now.
She is very different to Pip in many ways and that is a good thing. She is keeping me on my toes!
I will try and upload some pictures of her if I can remember how to do it!

Aww she is gorgeous. Rosie will fill that void. You will never forget Pip, but I'm sure she would approve of your new friend...xx

Rosie is absolutely beautiful and she will give you a whole lot of wonderful memories to add to the ones you already have of Pip. I was sorry to hear you had lost her Tracey. I remember the struggles you had with taking her blood, etc, it's a long time ago I know so I'm just catching up on the forum.

Good luck to you and Rosie xx

Rosie is gorgeous, just what you need I'm sure she will be perfectly well adjusted very soon, as you are giving her all the help she needs. I have to say though, Rosie looks like a longer haired version of my Archie xx

She is lovely Tracey Are you keeping her in full coat? I'm considering cutting my Daisy short. We are away for 10 days at the end of June and they are both going home boarding. I think she will be in a right mess if I don't make her a shortie girl. The lady they are home boarding with takes her day boarders and overnight boarders on long country rambles x

Awww Tracey she is so lovely and thank you for taking this little girl on and giving her an excellent home. I echo Rosie's words in that she will most certainly fill that void although we all know you will never forget the lovely Pip .... yes you are correct when you say that it is a good thing that she is so different to Pip .... another life's venture for you with Rosie and you know, Pip will be looking down as pleased as punch for you knowing that Rosie will have the same amount of love and care that Pip had received herself from you. I wish you all the best Tracey in having many, many years of continued happiness with your new family member
