Exclamation Collar Danger - Be Aware

If you are the sort of person who likes to keep collars on and you have more than one apso/a another breed, please see the following link. It is a safety collar designed to safely open if your pooches play rough when wearing collars. Dangerous incidents can occur when two collar'd dogs play together - if caught in a mouth, it's easily possible that the jaw can be broken on one of them whilst the other will be slowly throttled please be aware ..... http://www.friendsoffido.co.uk/keeps...ollar-c25.html

Those collars look like a brilliant idea if anyone has a couple or more dogs that play together

Chelsea wears her collar outside when she's out for a walk, but never in the house.
Although her collar is cute on her, safety first in my eyes.

layla is walked via harness but wears a collar as i have her id tag on here, i keep this on her all day but she is always with me and its a clip release collar anyway, not a buckle etc, she doesnt play with my mums dogs anyway so in the house is fine and i would rather she have it on because if ur dog does manage to get out which has happened to ppl on here! then what? yes they may be chipped but should by law be wearing an id tag ! also can get them back to you much quicker etc, i just take her collar off on a night when we go to bed and i do nip out and she goes in crate then the collar gets taken off, like when i went to crufts obvs she was with my parents so never alone but on a night when put to bed in her crate my mum does same for me takes collar off, as she does with hers x

For those of us who are required by law to keep a collar on the dog at all times, make sure the collar is only one finger, which is that its snug enough you can only fit one finger between collar and dog. I got that trick from some field people with hunting dogs back in the day, so they didn't get snagged on branches in the brush while working.
